Pork with Passion
Attention Downtown Merchants!
This year we are currently underway to revitalize the O'Fallon Main Street organization. Over the years many downtown events were done by Main Street volunteers on a very limited budget. One of these events in 2008 was Pork with Passion, held the first weekend in October. Around Halloween we also had the Pumpkin Patch, and then in December we held our annual Santa's Hut. It was decorated and manned by Main Street volunteers.
In past years several trashcans were placed throughout downtown and purchased by Main Street. Also, the Caboose located on First Street is a Main Street project that provides interest to downtown. Plans are underway to expand our Santa's Hut. And this year, it is our hope to have at least one major event.
We hope you will seriously consider being a part of Main Street O'Fallon. There are a limited number of retail businesses in the downtown area defined as Main Street O'Fallon, so every membership is important. Our main goal is to assure a better future by keeping downtown O'Fallon a dynamic shopping area and business district.
